Sadly, being in the middle of an ever evolving and exciting city, the hotel does indeed have some build works happening however there is definitely no generator or indeed any machinery at the construction site running 24 hours as there are very strict restrictions in place with timings aligned to ensure minimal guest impact within our hotels. Hey Violet! Stayed just one night in August on my way to visit family and while the hotel is well located and comfortable, it was not worth paying twice! As others have said the waterproof sheet doesnt stay on the bed well and is noisy as you move The coffee machine at breakfast needs to be addressed.

The bathroom isnt terribly big although the shower is a decent size.

We were not disappointed.The rooms are on the small side but rather stylish, modern and very consistently decorated.

There are hangers to hang your clothes, if youre looking for wardrobes, desks etc book yourself into a business hotel instead. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.

I went down to reception checking in on them every 20/30mins and always getting told to wait and the receptionist will bring them to my room in the next 5-10mins. The bed has only one pillow and the mattress is covered in a plastic cover which is very noisy when moving in bed. We arrived at 12pm off our train to dump luggage, there is a handful of lockers to store luggage and if these are full there is no where else. Was lucky enough to get this on 5pm deal. I was absolutely appalled by how some of the other hotel guests were talking to the staff like they don't have enough on their plate trying to deal with the alarm, get everyone out, the firemen that came what they don't need is people moaning in their faces and asking for a refund!!! The biggest let down for me was the mattress and pillow.

At 1am, and by this time I was getting frustrated as I had a day's work the next day, I went down to reception again and while waiting, the receptionist came and with attitude he said "I said you'll have them, they're in front of your room".
